Artist Pokras Lampas Creates a Massive Rooftop Mural Atop Fendi Headquarters in Rome

500 liters of yellow paint was used to create the intricate “calligraffiti.”

Fendi has enlisted Russian artist Pokras Lampas to create a massive, calligraphy-based mural atop its headquarters in Rome, Italy. Equipped with 500 liters of yellow paint and a large brush, Lampas placed his intricate “calligraffiti” piece on the rooftop of the Palazzo Della Civiltà Italiana—an establishment which housed the Italian luxury fashion imprint for approximately two years. All in all, the piece—made especially for Fendi’s millennial-targeted online platform “F is for…“— spans a whopping 1,250 square meters.
