The Garage Museum of Contemporary Art presents “The Cloud of Misreading.”

Coming soon to Moscow’s Garage Museum of Contemporary Art is iconic artist Raymond Pettibon‘s first-ever solo exhibition in Russia. Entitled “The Cloud of Misreading,” the show — curated with the help of Massimiliano Gioni and Gary Carrion-Murayari from the New Museum in New York — will feature over 300 works along with a bevy of material from Pettibon’s personal archive. Fans can expect a thorough look at the artist’s tackling of American idealism along with the punk fliers, ‘zines, and album covers for which he’s best known.
“The Cloud of Misreading” opens June 7 and will be on display through August 13.
