Ari Marcopoulos Is Spotlighted in 'HERO' Magazine's "Dangerous Youth" Issue

Touting intimate portraits of Marcopoulos and his sons.

Ari Marcopoulos created a special edition zine dubbed CHAOS, which was tucked inside HERO magazine’s April 2016 issue. Now, the cult photographer is the premier subject of the publication’s latest installment entitled “Dangerous Youth.” The 32-page tome is filled with intimate family portraits of Marcopoulos’ sons, Ethan and Cairo. In fact, the Amsterdam-born creative “has been shooting [his sons] for more than twenty years; old photos appear alongside completely new images, telling the story of three lives intertwined.”

Check out the images above, which also showcase archival pieces from Supreme, as well as apparel from Ari Marcopoulos’s collaboration with adidas Skateboarding. The “Dangerous Youth” issue is set to hit select stores this week.
