Earlier this March, Michael Lau joined forces with Carhartt WIP to create a bevy of urban vinyl toys under a series titled Gardner. Now, the acclaimed Hong Kong-based artist is teaming up once again with the workwear stalwart on a new exhibition called “PLAYWORK.” The presentation made especially for Art Basel Hong Kong 2017 features a total of 33 pieces that draw heavy influences from street and skate culture. Paintings, figurines and accompanying tees are now available to peruse and purchase at I.T HYSAN ONE at Causeway Bay.
