VLONE Collaborator Andrea "FACE" Facelli Launches New Provocative Exhibition in Copenhagen

Featuring clippings from old porn magazines and “vagina scent.”

Italian graffiti artist Andrea “FACE” Facelli, the mind behind the VLONE statues at the Milan pop-up event, is set to launch a new exhibition at the Le Fix Gallery in Copenhagen on February 2. Titled “Tales of Snakes & Holy Water,” the show features new artworks, mostly collages, made from an expansive collection of images and clippings from old porn magazines, antique books, real golden leaves and “vagina scent.” The collection reflects the artist’s distinctive geometric graphic style that mixes sacred motifs with profane imagery for an avant-garde aesthetic fertile with contemporary streetwear’s current obsession with the ’90s. A limited edition T-shirt collection will also accompany the launch of the exhibition. The FACE “Tales of Snakes & Holy Water” exhibition will launch on February 2.
