KAWS Teases New Pace Prints Portfolio for Art Basel

A set of nine is heading to Miami.

Printmakers and art gallery Pace Prints is heading to Art Basel with some new offerings in tow. Perhaps most notable is a new set of KAWS prints, dubbed “THE NEWS.”

KAWS has linked up with Pace Prints several times in the past, and this new work is in line with color-heavy past collaborations. For “THE NEWS,” KAWS loaded large circular prints of zoomed-in cartoon characters with color. The edition of 100 is also peppered with KAWS’ signature ‘X’ motif.

Art Basel attendees can scope the new pieces in person December 6 at booth F28, while those who email kaws@paceprints.com between 11:00 a.m. and 11:05 a.m. will be randomly offered a chance to buy the prints. In other art news, Steve Olson is showing a new selection of bold works at the Diane Rosenstein gallery.
