Case Studyo Translates an Eddie Martinez Painting Onto a Handwoven Rug

From canvas to carpet, the renowned artist tackles tapestry as a new medium to play with.

In collaboration with renowned artist Eddie Martinez, Case Studyo has created this exemplary translation of art from canvas to carpet. Based on one of his paintings from 2015, Martinez’s enthusiasm in embracing various materials led to this unique opportunity to use tapestry as a new medium in which to play with. In a similar image of his free-spirited masterpiece, vibrant splashes of paint are replaced by colorful handwoven thread. Sized at 210 cm by 140 cm, the piece comes inclusive of a signed and numbered certificate by the artist himself. Contact Case Studyo for info on price and availability.
