Essentials: Towns

The London graffiti artist shows us his trusted tools of the trade.

Features

Punchy, bold and expressive, London-based graffiti artist Towns has made a name for himself internationally over his 17-year career with a distinct style that draws from classic street art lettering. To create his art, Towns is armed to the teeth with a range of equipment that gets him past wire fences and into otherwise impenetrable corners of the Big Smoke. These items take up most of his Essentials, and include everything from a Muji notepad to ideate with, and eye-catching Supreme bolt cutters and Fat Caps to execute the works, to a trusty Canon Powershot G16 to capture and share the finished results to the community. Check out Towns’ Essentials above, and don’t miss the Pen & Paper we did with him last year.
