Os Gemeos Makes Milanese Debut With a Train-Centric Mural

The duo pays homage to the history of locomotives and graffiti alike.

Os Gemeos — the Brazilian street artist duo consisting of identical twin brothers Otavio and Gustavo Pandolfo — has finally made its mark on Milan, Italy. The mural, titled “Efêmero,” uses the shape of the Pirelli HangarBicocca building as its canvas and depicts one of the duo’s signature yellow characters hanging off the back of a train car; the work draws inspiration from the history of the Pirelli building, where locomotives were built during the 20th century, and the duo’s own claim to fame as one of the first street art acts invited to paint on Brazil’s subways.

Check out the mural above and let us know what you think of the piece in the comments below. For more from Os Gemeos, be sure to revisit their Volkswagen Beetle, which debuted at Art Basel.
