Swindler & Swindler Turn American Express Cards Into Handmade Works of Art
Forget plastic.

Swindler & Swindler is a duo of French illustrators, Rémy Boiré and Margot Reverdy, who specialize in ornamental typography. Commissioned by creative agency Alldayeveryday for American Express, the pair have reinterpreted the recognizable credit card as rarefied handmade art objects. The result are three cards in gold, platinum and verdant green, hand embossed with intricate flourishes and gossamer-thin line drawings of the company’s centurion mascot. Infinitely more desirable than your average plastic rectangle, the cards demand to be framed rather than carried in your pocket for better appreciation.
