Premiere: Create & Explore's Latest Video Brings Us to the Balmy Desert With Com Truise & Matthew Lawless

Ta-ku & Michael Salisbury’s creative agency produces original videos that pair sight with sound.

For Michael Salisbury and Ta-kuCreate & Explore wasn’t conceived as a business, it was born out of necessity. Both creatives in their own respective realms, Salisbury being photography and Ta-ku for both photography and music production, the two friends launched the intersectional platform as an outlet to whet their insatiable hunger for self-expression and exploration.

The creative agency operates under a pure brand philosophy: to encourage and strengthen artistic collaboration of all mediums. It embraces a simple formula that pairs a photographer with a beatmaker for original video content that engages the visual-auditory senses and inspires creative exploration. Create & Explore now launches its 10th video, made in collaboration with San Diego-based videographer Matthew Lawless and NY-based electronic artist Com Truise. Here, dynamic visuals of sun-kissed palm trees and gaping canyons interpolate with Com Truise’s delightfully ’80s-esque synthwave sounds that is simply provocative to the senses. In conjunction with the video launch, Com Truise also debuts his newest EP which can be heard here.
