Emmanuel Perrotin Announces Tokyo Expansion for 2017

Set to open next spring.

Parisian art dealer Emmanuel Perrotin has announced he will be opening up the next Galerie Perrotin in the heart of Tokyo’s Roppongi district next spring, marking the gallery’s third location in Asia. The Art Newspaper reports the new 130 square meter space is being designed by Hong Kong architect André Fu, who has previously worked with the likes of Louis Vuitton, the Four Seasons, COS, The Upper House, not to mention Perrotin’s Hong Kong location. Perrotin is also making a move to a larger space in New York, ditching his current Upper East Side location for a new Lower East Side space that’s almost eight times the size. For more information on current exhibitions, head over to the gallery’s website.
