We got a good look at Microsoft’s ambitious Mural Project some days earlier with POW! WOW! founder Jasper Wong’s guide to creating a mural using the company’s Surface Pro 4 tablet. Wong also acted as the project’s creative coordinator, presiding over efforts in 12 countries by 17 renowned muralists that includes the likes of Pablito Zago, Andreas Preis, Frankie Cihi and Persue. All marked by a bold blue border and urging passersby to “do great things,” the murals had subjects as diverse as their countries and the artists who painted them. Take in the art above, and for more inspirational murals, check out Sean Yoro’s jaw-dropping murals on icebergs.
