Artist Stefan Marx Created a Friend for This Empty Fruitbowl

A cartoony piece of art that succeeds in both form and function.

Case Studyo has come together with German artist Stefan Marx for a limited edition piece that is sure to appeal to art collectors: the collaboration consists of a handcrafted porcelain fruit-bowl that reads “EMPTY” and a banana with a face meant to keep the bowl company. The result is an art piece that could stand on its own or used for its functional purpose: a simple fruit-bowl with a gentle reminder to refill it built right in!

The piece comes with hand-signed certificates of authenticity and a screen-printed box for storage. The collaboration has been limited to only 50 pieces and is currently available for $260 USD .
