Micro Star Wars Illustrations

See a different side of the pop-culture fixation’s beloved characters via tiny, detail-oriented drawings.

Italian artist Claudia Maccechini has a penchant for illustrating pop culture icons in microdetail using colored pencils and watercolor. Her repertoire spans characters from classic movies like “E.T.” and “Back to the Future.” In addition, she leaves an expanse of white space, almost providing a sense of void, which encourages people to hone in on the intricacies of her work. In her latest series, she tackled the epic “Star Wars” franchise by drawing the likes of R2D2, Chewbacca, the Millennium Falcon and more, with impressive precision. To see more of Maccechini’s “Star Wars” artwork, head over to Fubiz.
