Spanish illustrator Ricardo Cavolo has released a book titled 101 Artists To Listen To Before You Die. The premise of the compiled list can be gleaned from the title, whereby Cavolo has dedicated two pages to each artist who he believes have the ability to make an impact on any individual’s life. Each artist is afforded a hand written note that can be anything from an anecdote to a series of tangled thoughts on why he admires them as an artist and on the adjoining page there is a portrait that Cavolo has painted in his signature style. The musical selection is varied and covers a broad spectrum, including Nirvana, Kanye West, Chief Keef, M.I.A. among many others.
