'635' by Willy Vanderperre Features His Entire Instagram in Book Form
You know you’ve made it when people are paying for a book of your Instagram profile.
Known for his hard-hitting style, Dutch fashion photographer Willy Vanderperre has just partnered with IDEA Books to release a photo book of his works as filtered through the square crop of Instagram. The book is titled 635 to reflect the total number of photos on his Instagram profile which has been featured in its entirety, three photos per page across 220 pages. Much like the fast-paced social media platform it pays homage to, 635 was also edited, designed and printed in a mere 10 days. “I thought it was incredibly modern, and so now, a perfect reflection of our time,” Vanderperre said to AnOther. I found the whole experience very liberating and fun, because there was absolutely no time to scrutinize over the placement of images, or adjust things, and go back and forth to the printers. It was all highly spontaneous. I hope everyone likes it as much as I do.” With only 300 copies produced, buy one here for £45 GBP (approximately $69 USD).
