Photographer Captures Beautiful Photographs of the Ravaging Californian Wildfires

Although the wildfires are wreaking havoc on the west coast, one photographer decided to raise awareness with these beautiful photos.

Wildfires have been eating up entire forests, mountains and fields in California, a problem that has become more and more grave. The deadly natural disasters leave nothing unscathed, but as terrifying as they are, one photographer decided to shed another light on it. Stuart Palley has been photographing wildfires in a series called “Terra Flamma.” In this series, Palley focuses on the big picture, photographing entire landscapes using long exposures to capture what many don’t usually see, documenting the strange beauty of the fires.
