'DAZED' Magazine Reveals Its Complete Redesign

To be released with four separate covers.

Long a stalwart of alternative culture in print, DAZED has launched a complete redesign at the hands of young designer Jamie Reid, coinciding with the introduction of an all-new editorial team and accompanying editorial direction under Editor-in-Chief Isabella Burley and Creative Director Robbie Spencer. Emphasizing the value of print to differentiate from DAZED‘s strong online platform by changing the paper stock to create a more book-like collectable object, Reid also introduced a more impactful logo that harks back to the publication’s earlier days. Citing Patti Smith posters, Scandinavian book covers and vintage transsexual porn magazines as visual inspirations, Reid sought to design the issue around the content rather than molding the content to a preconceived template, as signified by this issue’s four covers — one of which features Young Thug shot by Harley Weir. Look for the next issue of DAZED to hit newsstands on September 24.
