After celebrating its 10-year anniversary with a one-off “beta” publication for Fall/Winter 2014, uncrate has officially launched its magazine. Featuring a whole new collection of cars and gear, issue 01 sees the uncrate crew prowling the West Coast and Pacific Northwest — from Big Sur all the way up to Cape Flattery, the northernmost point of the contiguous United States — to test drive the BMW i8, Tesla Model S and an old Toyota Land Cruiser, as well as some rebuilt DeLoreans. Furthermore, the mag includes a visit with Draplin Design Co. founder Aaron Draplin and highlights everything from a flamethrower and robot lawn mower to jackets, sneakers, chinos, tees, sunglasses, and summertime brews.
