Famed photographer Terry Richardson just wrapped up his latest show at Paris’s Galerie Perrotin over the weekend. The aptly-titled “The Sacred and The Profane” ran from March 7 to April 11 and featured a series of never-before-seen images taken by Richardson over the course of the past few years. What began as a documentation of American summertime rituals such as fairs and festivals eventually morphed into an examination of the two ideals expressed in the exhibition’s name, with Richardson exploring the juxtaposition of the two in his signature raw style.
