While POW! WOW! Hawaii has evolved to encompass much more than live art installations – the murals remain the crown jewels of this street art festival that takes over the Kaka’ako district of Honolulu for seven days every February. Here we get a closer look at completed pieces from the 2015 edition, from the likes of Apex, David Flores, Kevin Lyons, James Jean, Maya Hayuk, Fafi, Tristan Eaton and Matt Eaton, Slick, Hueman, Saber, Mark Dean Veca, Kozyndan, Nosego, Woes, and more. Some seasoned to the street and others tackling the largest canvas of their careers, each artist brought their own unique style to their mural, resulting in a colorful medley of artistic expression and collaboration.
