Daniel Arsham Uses Eroded Ashes for One of His Latest Projects

Known for his unique sculptures, New York-based artist Daniel Arsham has added another piece to his list of projects. Consisting of volcanic ash and rocks, the artwork takes the shape of a woman in a massively incomplete form, similar to his displays seen at his “Fictional Archeology” exhibition. Pieces of her body that are present consist of her head, arms, and lower legs as majority of her torso and lower body are missing. In addition, her visible limbs are broken down to where one can see the detailing within Arsham’s piece made of selenite crystal shards. You can learn more about Daniel Arsham’s work here.
