Os Gemeos Reworks a Volkswagen Beetle for Art Basel

Inspired by one of the duo’s earlier paintings.

The twins behind Os Gemeos have taken to Art Basel in Miami to unveil their latest sculptural installment. Using a Volkswagen Beetle, the artistically acclaimed duo apply their signature aesthetics with a giant head piece appearing out of the roof of the car that opens up to a disco ball-like interior. Hidden within the reverse of the face is a cabinet of trinkets, including antique radios, clocks and figurines, but there’s still a lot to be discovered throughout the inside and outside of the car.
