After the success of “Hot Fire,” Cali Thornhill Dewitt and Misha Hollenbach collaborate once again to continue the jubilant series. Originally shown as a broadsheet for the New York Book Fair, the dynamic duo decided to continue the series with a followup for Slam Jam in Milan. Amalgamating the irresistible combination of concrete, desire, paint and pizza, the multimedia work demands attention from a multitude of points and constantly oscillates between chaos and order. Photographer Lukas Gansterer traveled to Milan to document the making of “Hot Fire 2,” and the result is as revealing as it is entertaining.
