Stripper-turned hip-hop video vixen-turned ardent feminist Amber Rose has long sought to be considered more than “Kanye’s infamous ex” or “Wiz Khalifa’s baby mama.” Now “America’s toughest bald babe since Sigourney Weaver in Alien 3” is publishing her own book: a 256-page memoir/self-help book dubbed How to Be a Bad Bitch. On occasion of its release, Rose appears in the latest issue of GQ. Shot topless by Robert Maxwell, the provocative images are accompanied by a lengthy profile that delves into topics like her rise to fame, parenting, why she’ll never listen to My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy, and much more.

Not everyone is thrilled about the piece, however: Rose herself took to Instagram yesterday to lash out at the publication for being “ignorant” and billing her as a “teen stripper turned megalomaniac muse.”
