Graffiti Artist to Cross America Painting "Greetings From" Murals

Starting in spring, former graffiti artist Victor Ving and photographer Lisa Beggs will travel

Starting in spring, former graffiti artist Victor Ving and photographer Lisa Beggs will travel across the United States in an RV to create interactive murals as part of their ”Greetings From” project. Inspired by the classic large letter postcards from the ’30s to ’50s, the murals, each upheld by motifs inspired by their respective locations, will become public landmarks to be marveled by visitors. Painted with aerosol cans, the project looks to highlight big cities and unfrequented towns across America. So far they’ve delivered a few murals in various boroughs of New York, with the aim of painting another 10 throughout 2015. The artists have started a Kickstarter page to secure funding for their trip ahead, head over to the “Greetings From” page for more information.
