Brunch City Series: Miniature Cityscapes Made Out of Food
Brunch City is a photography series created by artist Bea Crespo and photographer Andrea Garcia

Brunch City is a photography series created by artist Bea Crespo and photographer Andrea Garcia Portoles, which was started two years ago. The concept behind the collaborative project is to showcase meals typical to a city by using the actual food item itself to serve as a canvas/base for the illustrative cutouts of iconic landmarks from the metropolis it represents. So for example, Paris’s Eiffel Tower sits atop a croissant, the Pantheon from Athens rests on a container of melting yogurt, the Museum of the City of Brussels is nestled into a Belgian waffle, and so forth. The last photograph was published back in December, so it’s hard to say whether Brunch City is ongoing, but those interested can always check the duo’s site for updates.
