STAR WARPS: An Online Book of Art Inspired by Star Wars

While many thoroughly enjoy the cinematic experience the Star Wars franchise brings and call themselves “true fans,” DB Burkeman has taken it a step further and produced an online curated gallery of Star Wars-inspired artwork. Although Burkeman does not regard himself as a “true fan” due to him feeling he has insufficient knowledge of every detail in the films, he developed a personal connection to the universe, which led him to work on this idea for several years. After a meeting with technology designer Phillip Kuperberg, STAR WARPS was born, and it resulted in a chronologically curated collection with the earliest work by an artist being the starting point of that artist’s profile in the online book. Enjoy the snippets of art above and head over to STAR WARPS for the full collection of works.
