Brooklyn-based artist Matt Reilly recently took to Jersey City’s Mana Contemporary to exhibit ”Wall Ride.” The performing art piece saw Reilly skate back-and-forth over a white canvas pinned to a mini ramp on wheels attached to saturated sponges. The sponges were dipped in bold colors of blue, red, and brown and helped create various thickness and patterns unique to each painting.
