Obscura Magazine 2014 Spring Issue 15

The latest issue of Obscura Magazine marks a shift in direction for the Hong Kong-based publication

The latest issue of Obscura Magazine marks a shift in direction for the Hong Kong-based publication with the new pursuit of “cultivating the art of daily life.” Thematically, Issue 15 for Spring 2014 is formed around the sensory ideation of “smell. see. touch. hear. taste.” In keeping with the concept, the pages of this latest issue include, “The Art of Remembering” – a discussion with Maison Martin Margiela aimed at understanding the relation between memory and scent — a photo essay by Isabelle Bertolini on the topic of noticing beauty in everyday life and “It Is the World that Made You Small,” a search for inspiration in mundane objects with multidisciplinary artist, Brock Davis. Through re-positioning its editorial content, Obscura seems to have opened up interesting and new avenues of dialogue for readers. The newest issue becomes available online and at global stockists beginning today.
