Kate Upton may not have landed on the main cover of the 2014 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue, but the beloved model is indeed the subject of the highly anticipated publication’s flagship editorial. Dubbed “Zero Gravity,” the piece sees the blonde bombshell in a Boeing 727 run by the Zero G Experience – a zero-gravity flight where weightlessness can be achieved by pulling the plane up to a 45-degree angle at an altitude of roughly 34,000 feet before being pushed into a descent. Check out James Macari’s shots of the golden bikini-clad Upton above and check out a variety of looks at the shoot below. The 2014 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue hit newsstands today while a variety of digital accompaniments to the publication are now available online.
