Released back in August, Banksy in New York is writer and photographer Ray Mock’s chronicle of Banksy’s notorious month-long residency on the streets of the Big Apple. Now on hardcover, this edition of the book features a preface from Brooklyn Street Art founders Jaime Rojo and Steven P. Harrington, with over 140 photos and illustrations capturing not only the British artist’s artwork in the city, but also the reactions it elicited from the public and media. In addition to the visuals, Mock, in his own words, details the residency with his personal narrative, and offers his perspective on the impact of Banksy’s work. The new Banksy in New York will officially hit stores on December 5. Pre-orders can currently be placed at Amazon.com, which will have the book out on December 10, and at Carnage.
