Having recently graduated from the Royal College of Art — alumni of the RCA include Lucien Freud, Chris Ofili, Tracy Emin, Dinos Chapman and David Hockney — with a MA in painting, L.Clayton has teamed up with Japanese designer Kazuki Kuraishi for a final graduate show. Inspired by minimalism and the reduction of forms, the exhibition consists of steel, cast aluminum and bronze, all stripped down to its basic elements, along with the uniform that was worn during the manufacturing and fabrication of the installation — acting as a document of work, baring the history of the process.
