If your upcoming schedule includes some much needed downtime, then pick up legendary artist KAWS’ latest book foray aptly titled DOWN TIME. Corny puns aside, this 112-page, Italian-made hardcover highlights the Brooklyn-based artist and the work he featured at last year’s exhibit at the High Museum of Art in Atlanta under the same “DOWN TIME” moniker. Designed by Li, Inc. and edited by the exhibit’s curator Michael Rooks, the book features a handful of editorials, full-color illustrations as well as reproductions of rarely seen color charts used by KAWS during the planning of each art installation. This limited edition publication can be purchased here for a mere $48 USD.
