Capturing Street Art with Alex FaKso in Buenos Aires
From skate photographer to artist.
Alex FaKso began his career as a skate photographer in the early ’90s. Since then he has transitioned into a more personal obsession with street culture, specifically graffiti writers, having worked with the likes of OSGEMEOS to document their process. A recent video piece, filmed and directed by DSCREET, gives some insight into FaKso’s own creative workflow as he ventures the streets of Buenos Aires. In the short piece, he explains that as the graffiti writers create work revealing a unique approach to lettering and public display; so too does his work create a collage for an unseen world.
