Dutch artist Parra releases his latest collectible porcelain sculpture in conjunction with artwork publisher and producer Case Studyo. Drawing from Parra’s world of surreal characters, the glossy monochromatic figure is an elegant contrast of smooth curves converging into sharp points as can be seen in his previous works. The title of the work comes from the iconic ’60s song “Lay Down” by Melanie. The launch of this figure accompanied his solo show “Tracy had a hard Sunday” which opened on February 23 at the Jonathan LeVine Gallery in New York.
