Another Banksy mural – which shows a young boy hunched over a sewing machine making union jack bunting - has been ripped out of its original home on Turnpike Lane in London and relocated in a US- based Fine Art Auctions Miami site. Aptly stenciled on the side of a Poundland discount shop, the piece is a suggestive ridicule of child labor under the Queen’s reign and was performed in timely light of the Queen’s jubilee last spring. The chain surplus store has denied they or the building owners were involved in the art removal, an extraction which has angered the local community. “Banksy gave that piece of art to our community, and people came from all over London to see it,” a local council member told the BBC. The “Child Labor” mural is on auction at an estimated value between $500,000 and $700,000 USD and joins a list of former associates to relocate in a more-than-likely wealthy abode.
