Kidult Vandalizes Chanel Paris

After enlisting the likes of Christian Louboutin, Supreme, Marc Jacobs and Hermes as unwitting accomplices in his “BRANDalizing” campaigns, Kidult‘s latest onslaught sees the overhaul of Chanel‘s Paris storefront. Plastered with bold slogan “50% Off Crisis Day Sale,” the Parisian graffiti artist’s latest piece comes in light of Paris Fashion Week, making mockery of the illustrious event and its footing in consumer culture. In recent times, a clip of Kidult spray painting Marc Jacobs’s Paris store has appeared in A$AP Rocky’s “Fashion Killa” video, reinforcing the artist as a much-conversed topic not only in art and fashion, but also music respectively.
