Having now positioned himself as a household name after his collaboration with the MTV Music Awards a few months back, KAWS will return to New York this November to open his latest art exhibit at the Mary Boone Gallery in Chelsea. A pupil to the realm of street art, KAWS teased his forthcoming installation earlier today on Instagram with what might be another giant wood COMPANION sculpture. On that very same day of November 2 the New York native will open his “Pass The Blame” exhibit uptown at the Galerie Perrotin on Madison Avenue. The Mary Boone Gallery showing will remain open until December 21.
