GQ have recently announced the release of a hardback book, titled GQ Men, published by New York’s Assouline Publishing. Curated by Jim Nelson and Glenn O’Brien, this book captures the longstanding essence of Gentleman’s Quarterly. Packed with imagery that dates back to the magazine’s first print issue in 1957, an array of figures involved with men’s fashion, politics, art, literature, film, music and travel grace the pages. Modern men such as Paul Newman, Bob Dylan, George Clooney, Denzel Washington, Ryan Gosling, Kanye West, Paul McCartney, Barack Obama, Bill Clinton, Ralph Lauren, Thom Browne, Jeff Koons and LeBron James all make an appearance alongside other notable mentions. The GQ Men book is available for $150 USD at select online stockists including MR PORTER.
