Banksy has unveiled the third work from his self-described “street residency” in New York, “Better Out Than In.” After hitting Chinatown and Manhattan’s West Side on days one and two, day three sees the controversial street artist hitting Midtown to spray paint a stencil of a dog urinating on a fire hydrant – accompanied by the text “You complete me…” Although seemingly just a comical silhouette upon first glance, the satirical audio recording that accompanies the piece provides a deeper context for the work.
