As part of his ongoing “Hiding in the City” exhibition, artist Liu Bolin returns to Galerie Paris-Beijing for more stunning camouflage photos utilizing every day terrain and landscapes in order to provide but a faint silhouette of the subjects being obscured. The often colorful depictions combine a number of techniques to achieve the imagery without the use of aftermarket effects. “Hiding in the City” is a comment on the status of artists in China and was sparked by the demolition of Suojia Village in 2005 – which had the largest population of artists in the country. The exhibition is currently on display and runs through March 9.
