American graffiti artist Saber recently completed one of his most ambitious undertakings to date, hiring five planes to tag the sky over NYC with messages defending art programs across the U.S. and bashing Mitt Romney, who has proposed several plans to cut funding for cornerstone art programs. In addition to the messages of support for public arts, the graffiti artist also managed to write a couple shout-outs to fellow artists Art Work Rebels (AWR) and Mad Society Kings (MSK). Check out the photos to see the inspiring skywriting and be sure to check out Saber’s site to lend your support to his #DEFENDTHEARTS campaign.
