Street art legend Futura cut his teeth tagging subway trains in New York in the early 1970s. While his more recent career has shifted focus to graphic design and gallery art, he will snap his 12-year solo show drought with his upcoming exhibition “Future Shock” at Valmorbida in New York City. The installation is expected to showcase a large body of yet unseen contemporary work by Futura. Curated by Nemo Librizzi, the show opens at Valmorbida on September 6 and is currently slated to run through October 5.
