Melbourne-based artist Misha Hollenbach is one half of the internationally acclaimed fashion and publishing label P.A.M. and a member of the art/music supergroup The Changes. Having exhibited extensively across the world, Hollenbach returns home to Utopian Slumps this June with his latest collection “Smagliature” (which means “stretch marks” in Italian). Smagliature presents a new body of works across the mediums of installation, sculpture, screen printing and collage. Many of the paintings were spontaneously formed using a variety of processed meats in lieu of paintbrushes, signaling a return to primitive Dadaism. The exhibition opens this Saturday, June 2 and runs until June 23. To keep up with Misha, head over to his HYPEBEAST blog.
