This past weekend marked the launch of the highly anticipated ART HK 12 Hong Kong International Art

This past weekend marked the launch of the highly anticipated ART HK 12 Hong Kong International Art Fair 2012. Featuring two convention rooms filled with both modern and contemporary art, the comprehensive exhibition was held at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. The four-day event welcomed patrons into an expansive space filled with coveted, rare, and highly recognizable art from many galleries and artists from around the world. Now in its fifth year, ART HK 12 saw works from many notables including the likes of Takashi Murakami, Damien Hirst, George Condo, Jeff Koons, KAWS, José Parlá, Picasso, Andy Warhol, Barry McGee, Keith Haring as well as many others. In addition to welcoming global artists and galleries, ART HK 12 also served as a platform for much of the local art from the Hong Kong area as well as a showcase of some of the best and most revered Chinese artists.
