Football and art have merged with the help of Turkish Airlines and artist, Craig Redman, who drew up special edition portraits of famous footballers who finished the pieces off themselves by color. Here we see five players from Barcelona and five from Manchester United, all of which have put their cleats aside in order to color their own faces — on canvas that is. The two videos promotes the project for charity’s sake, as each portrait will be up for auction on eBay during May 1-10, with the proceeds to be given to each team’s respected charity foundation. Gracing the still imaged videos are Messi, Xavi, Iniesta, Pique and Puyol from Barcelona; and Rooney, Chicharito, Nani, Giggs and Ferdinand from Manchester United, all of which eventually stand smug behind their finished works of art.
