UK furniture maker Sebastian Cox is a specialist in his craft, but not only for his woodworking designs. Cox is also dedicated to sourcing his production from environmentally sustainable Coppiced Hazel woodlands – plants which are capable of growing up to five feet in a single season. With proper resource management, one can inherently have an inexhaustable supply of resources for production. Check out this short film that follows Cox through his process as he creates true artisanal furniture that is as aesthetically pleasing as it is sustainable to the environment.
