This weekend marks the debut of Japanese self-trained artist Yoskay Yamamoto‘s latest exhibition, this time landing at Lebasse Projects in Los Angeles’s Chinatown. Entitled “Jokes On Me…,” the collection is several years in the making and features an array of customized figurines and a variety of mediums, including creations of vinyl, clay, plaster, wood and resin. With a humorous view on current societal issues pulling the works together thematically, “Jokes On Me…” is set to open this Saturday, March 24, from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. with Yamamoto in attendance.
